Ok so my super awesome girlfriend got me a wacom tablet for christmas. I have never used one before but I kept hearing that they were awesome so I figured I should try one out. They are really hard to use... I guess everything is kind of hard until you get used to it. But anyway, here is my first crack at trying to use the wacom tablet. C&C extremely welcome as well as any pointers for using the wacom tablet... also how do you pronounce wacom... is it Way'come or Wack'em.

My tablet's been collecting dust for a while, but I did pull it out to complete my "Natalie's Daydream" piece. It's in my gallery. It's easier to work with the bigger ones because there's a larger area to draw on. What size did your gf get you?

Hey thanks. I am still not really used to the wacom pad thingy, so I think I can improve. But thanks for the support and encouragement!

Yea it's kind of small, I think it's about 8X8. Is that a small one? I don't really know much about them.

Yeah, there's a 6x8" I think. It's not the smallest, though. You'll eventually want a bigger one, though. ;)

got a wacom? niiice, i have one too so if you need any tips ( not that i'm in any place to be giving tips lol!). i like this one. You're really good at drawing on the tablet i can only ink and color with a tablet my drawings look like they got hit by a truck, or like they're melting.

Actually any tips you have would be appreciated! You kick my ass at inking and coloring... and pretty much everything else. So tips are welcomed!
